Jimmy Buffett - Concerned Citizen
The Miami Marine Stadium, which is owned by the city, has been closed since 1992, but lately there have been considerable efforts to reopen and restore the stadium. Jimmy Buffett played a memorable show there on August 17, 1985.
Buffet recently said that he supported the restoration. “It’s a symbol of everything that’s great about Florida…the stadium deserves a future,” Buffet said.
